A medical conference was held to bring international medical authorities to Tirana to educate physicians and participate in the diagnosis and treatment of complex medical conditions such as cancer, spinal cord and nervous system injuries and vision impairments.

Patients from several countries who were refused proper medical care elsewhere traveled to be treated by our team of physicians. MDAiD developed programs based on the absence of appropriate medical care and properly equipped facilities to address the conditions most prevalent.

The Time to Act is Now

Help us meet the medical needs of those who have experienced

human rights violations.

Home: Welcome

In June 2013 Dr. Firouz Daneshgari and a team of physicians traveled to Tirana, Albania to assess the community's medical needs and conditions. The medical demands were much greater than anticipated.

A team of physicians from the U.S. and Europe built the necessary relationships with the Albanian medical community to treat patients at their local hosptials free of charge. The lack of medical advancements in Albania made it difficult to provide the best care possible, therefore, supplies and medications were shipped from the United States and other countries. Regardless of the depth of dedication and number of patients treated, this team could not meet the medical needs of this community alone. MDAiD was formed to secure the resources necessary to treat the thousands of people in need.
